churches, wood constructions
• In Maramures you can see the tallest
wood construction (the Sapanta church—75m), as well
as an architectural monument, The Barsana Monastery
• Another point of atraction unique
in the world is the Mery Cementery of Sapanta, a
different view of death
• In Ieud you will find one of the oldest
churches in the area, dated XIV century. More interesting
than the age of the church is the interior painting,
dated XVIII century
