| TOURISTIC SCHEDULE ON A DAY
In the weather, the disposition, or the day of
the week allows you, you can make a daily schedule,
with the possibilities, offered to you, above.
1. Visiting Sapanta – Cimitirul Vesel and Peri
convent, lunch at Sighet (Perla Sigheteana, Casa
Iurca or Flamingo). Afternoon – visiting the Museum
of the Arrested Thought, returning back in the evening,
dinner.
2. A small trip with the train on the Vaser, visiting
the Catholic church, the cemetery dating from the
first world war, mineral streams, lunch (picnic)
at Faina, returning in the evening, diner at pensions.
The small trip with the “mocanita” train makes all
day. Meanwhile, the rich Maramures Mountain coasts
can be admired, the mineral water streams or there
can be seen wood wagons coming from the heart of
the mountain to be transformed into finite products
at Viseu de Sus. Price ticket for train: 30 lei/pers, discount for students. Departure train: 8.30, Arrival Viseu -17.00, Waiting 2 h - Faina.
3. Visiting the ceramic workshop from Sacel and
the wood sculpture, lunch at Turlas pension (Salistea
de Sus). Afternoon visiting “Muzeul tarancii” from
Dragomiresti, the church form the valley, and the
complex “Moara-piua-valtoare” at Ieud, Barsana convent.
4. Going to Borsa. At Moisei, you can visit the
Martyr’s Monument. At Borsa visiting the “horse’s
falls”, ascending and descending with the cable
railway. Lunch at Cerbu’s restaurant. After lunch
you can climb on the Prislop (1416 m).
5. In the morning visiting an apiary presenting
the bees, producing the honey, the importance of
bee products. Tasting of the honey. Possibilities
to by it.

6. Visiting of a Ukrainian village (Repedea or Poienile
de sub Munte), weaving at home and a Ukrainian church.
If it’s Saturday and it is permitted, in the evening
you can participate to a religious ceremony at one
of the orthodox churches from Viseu and neighborhoods.
7. Visiting a traditional house on the Ulm Valley,
with lunch rich in natural aliments (“balmos”, “mamaliguta”
with cheese, sheep milk, tasting the horinca).
8. Local trips around Viseu de Sus: on the Horean
hill (can be practiced fishing or you can serve
lunch at Soccete lake), on Win’s Valley, on the
Ciunca Hill – at the cross.
